We’re absolutely amazed to discover that a PS4 game called Motorcycle Club is apparently due to be released in November, yet no-one at PSU had ever heard of it before today.
We say “apparently” because there’s hardly any information about the game online other than placeholders set by the likes of Amazon in the U.S. and Europe, and minimal coverage on a number of French sites that appear to stem from IDEF 2014 and GamesCom.
This is quite surprising as the game has secured some major licenses including Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda and looks rather like a Motorcycle version of DRIVECLUB, albeit with a price tag of $29.99, which suggests that it didn’t quite have DRIVECLUB’s development budget.
The feature-set isn’t too shabby either with players able to create clubs, race around tracks across the U.S. and Japan and drive 22 bikes “modeled after the most prestigious names in racing including Kawasaki, BMW, Yamaha, Suzuki, and more.” There’s also the option to customise riders with helmets and emblems and take on rival clubs in a championship mode.
The game is developed by Klyotonn Entertainment and published by Maximum Family Games and is also set to be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. We’ve contacted the publisher to see if we can find out more information about the game, which is apparently scheduled to be released some time in November.
