Bethesda’s Todd Howard has moved to reassure fans that the company is hard at work on more Fallout projects beyond what was showcased at Fallout Day 2025 yesterday.
While we got confirmation of an anniversary edition of Fallout 4, a release date for Fallout 76 Burning Springs, plus a few other bits and bobs, we didn’t get a full-blown new game reveal. You may recall that there’s been a lot of rumours about Fallout 3 Remastered, although noted leaker NateTheHate did state that we shouldn’t expect it at the event. Fallout 5 is also in the pipeline, but that’s obviously still a long way off at this point.

In a pre-recorded video, Howard made it clear to fans that there’s more Fallout coming beyond what was announced at Fallout Day 2025, although didn’t name anything specific.
Even though I am recording this — it’s not live — and I’m probably watching myself right now from my desk and I’m reading your chat and these… that thing you want and this other thing you want… Hey, we read it all. Just know we are working on even more. We are looking forward to the day when we can share that with everybody
On the subject of Fallout 3 Remastered, leaker NateTheHate has previously commented that the game is indeed in the works, but we shouldn’t expect it for a while yet, so therefore it’s unsurprising we haven’t seen it yet. As for Fallout 5, Jez Cordon stated back in July 2025 that Fallout 5 has now been fully greenlit, but it’s unknown what studio is heading up development.
