How fares our 2008 Game of the Year? Very well, it seems. Metal Gear Solid 4 has sold over four million copies worldwide, and is currently the sixth highest rated game on the PlayStation 3, based on figures from review aggregate site Metacritic. So why has Konami failed to patch in PlayStation Trophy support for its 2008 gem? We have no idea, but according to Brandon Laurino of Konami Online, Konami is still considering the option.
"On the subject of MGS4/MGO trophies… we hear you," wrote Laurino on the PlayStation Blog. "We have been circulating these issues internally, and we will report back as soon as we are able."
Hopefully Konami does indeed report back. Props to PS3Center for catching the comment.
