Ubisoft Forward 2024 Time Set, Will Feature Star Wars: Outlaws, Assassin’s Creed Shadow, XDefiant And More

Ubisoft revealed back in April that we could expect to watch a new Ubisoft Forward event on June 10, 2024. On Thursday, it finally told us what time we can expect to watch it, along with a confirmation of a few of the games we’ll see at the event.

This year’s Ubisoft Forward will take kick off at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 5pm BT and will be streaming live from Los Angeles on both YouTube and Twitch

A short teaser trailer for the Forward also confirms we’ll be seeing more from Star Wars: Outlaws, Assassin’s Creed Shadows and XDefiant.

Save for XDefiant which just released, Outlaws and Shadows both have release dates coming later this year, so it was practically a sure-bet that we would be seeing more of them at this event.

In the case of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, this will likely be the first time we get a look at some gameplay, a rumour that has been circling since before we knew what the game was officially called.

We’ve already seen gameplay from Outlaws, so it’ll be curious to see what kind of deep-dive into the game we’ll get to check out ahead of its August release.

There’s no doubt we’ll get some look at whatever new content is coming to XDefiant, and beyond those three leaves the big question of what will fall under the “and more” category from Ubisoft.

Shadows is the big Assassin’s Creed game for this year, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility that we get a look at any of the other AC projects in the works.

It would also be about time for us to see the next Far Cry game, since it’s now been a few months since Far Cry 6 stopped receiving any support.

Then there’s also the Splinter Cell Remake still quietly in the works at Ubisoft Toronto, which we haven’t had an official update from that team for more than a year.

Fans are hopeful for it, and it feels like it’s time to get some news on how things are going. Whatever happens, at least we won’t be waiting that much longer to find out.
