Ubisoft Has Reportedly Sold Just 15 NFTs So Far

Quartz, the controversial NFT platform announced by Ubisoft earlier this month, has apparently gotten off to a pretty poor start to say the least.

According to numbers spotted by Liz Edwards, the senior character artist for Respawn shooter Apex Legends, Ubisoft has managed to flog just 15 NFTs using the marketplaces Objikt and Rarible.

Ubisoft is giving away many of its NTFs to begin with, therefore into the sales that it’s made so far. In addition, Stephen Totilo noted on Twitter that the Ghost Recon gun skin appears to take up all the NFT purchase so far, with the helmet being left out in the cold (it require 600 hours of playtime to unlock).

On the topic of Ubisoft, the publisher has reportedly seen a mass exodus of staff recently, and has announced plans to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Assassin’s Creed with a symphonic concert in October 2022.
