Before September was through, Ubisoft announced a new co-op shooter codenamed Project U, announcing it would be running a closed test for Project U to get some feedback from players.
It seems the introduction video from the closed test has leaked, and with it we’ve gotten a look at a few seconds of gameplay, plus a little more information about Project U, like how the ‘U’ stands for ‘Unite.’
Project Unite is currently being developed by the same team who made Riders Republic,

The quality of the video isn’t the best, but it does clearly show a third-person view in the beginning, and then what looks like players dropping down onto a map, similar to how players launch in the popular battle-royale Apex Legends.
However a simple BR doesn’t seem like the answer as to what Project Unite is, as Ubisoft says that this project “explores a new concept of sessions-based co-op shooter, where many players unite to prevail against an overwhelming threat.”
That’s about everything that the video definitively shows, while the rest of it is mainly about talking to the player part of the test, who likely would’ve watched that before entering their first match.
