Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells has teased that we can expect more info on its upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive adventure sequel, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, in the very near future.
“It’s coming along nicely. We’ve been hard at work since E3 and all I can say is that we’ll be having some stuff to show you very soon,” said Wells, during a chat with GameCrate.
Uncharted 4 was formally announced at the Spike Video Game Awards in December 2013, with Sony later unleashing a brief teaser running on PS4 hardware at E3 2014.
The franchise has a long-running history with the VGAs, as fans will no doubt recall. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was unveiled there back in 2008, as was the case with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception’s reveal two years later.
The hotly anticipated treasure hunting sequel will be released exclusively for PS4 in 2015. According to Nolan North, Uncharted 4 is likely to be the final outing in Nathan Drake’s globe-trotting antics.
