Uncharted 4 multiplayer is in a playable state, confirms Naughty Dog

The multiplayer component for the hotly anticipated PlayStation 4-exclusive, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, is already in a playable state, developer Naughty Dog has confirmed.

Robert Cogburn, the game’s multiplayer lead who also worked on Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, dropped the news on his personal Twitter account:

Uncharted 4 was originally due to hit stores later this year, but was delayed to spring 2016 to meet the ‘high standards‘ set by the development team.

However, Andrew House, President and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI), indicated the game will launch in Sony’s FY 2015, meaning it will be out by March 31, 2016.

Sony may show off more of the game at E3, as Uncharted has typically always received an extensive stage demo during the company’s press conference. However, it may opt to save something for the Paris Games Week instead.
