The Warframe PS5 file size has been revealed as 25.5 GB on PS5 as the game is now out on Sony’s new platform and available to download.
Now that the MMO is out and able to be downloaded on PS5 we can confirm this is the file size of the game and that there are no day-one patches for the game, with all the recent updates seemingly being built into this release.
Warframe on PS5 is a pretty big update from its PS4 counterpart, with a resolution of up to 4K and gameplay running at a maximum of 60 frames-per-second. On top of that, the game makes use of the DualSense in a number of ways and will support the PS5’s activities feature, allowing you to hop into a specific part of the game at the drop of a hat.
On top of that, you can carry all your save data and gear over from the PS4 experience to the PS5 version and future updates will land on both PS5 and PS4 at the same time, meaning you will get as good of an experience on PS5 as you did on PS4. Warframe was confirmed for PS5 a while ago, but its release date of today was announced earlier this week. Warframe was one of the first games to hit PS4 as a free-to-play title in 2013 and it is great to see it back again for PS5 with the wealth of content it now has and quality of life updates that Digital Extremes have implemented.
