WB Games’ Damian Wayne Batman Title Was Scrapped Due To Major Leaks, Claims Voice Actor

The Damian Wayne Batman title that was in development at WB Games Montreal was cancelled during a series of major leaks on the project, according to Josh Keaton, the voice actor who was lined up to portray the main character.

Speaking on a Twitch livestream, Keaton revealed that he was involved in three or four sessions for the part of Damian Wayne before WB Games Montreal pulled the plug.

It was a bummer. But they leaked everything, the whole plotline, not only the enemies and villains and the rogues gallery, but also the concept art for them. They were doing such a different take on so many of the rogues gallery it gave away everything that was different about the game. So, it kinda sucked. The leaks killed the project. The leaks totally killed the project.

Keaton added that the new Batman game was “not going to be in the Arkhamverse” when pressed for more details.

According to Jason Schreier, the Damian Wayne Batman game was cancelled at some point between 2016 — 2019, following plans for a Suicide Squad game at the studio were scrapped.

WB Games Montreal’s most recent project was Gotham Knights, which launched in October 2022 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. You can read our full review here.
