DICE has announced that the Battlefield 1 open beta will shut up shop on September 8.
The teaser for the upcoming World War 1-based shooter went live on August 31 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users, and offers players the chance to go hands-on with two game modes: Conquest and Rush.

Speaking of Conquest, DICE released an update for the Battlefield 1 beta today that removes the round timer from this particular mode. Aside from that however, no other tweaks have been made to the beta since it went live at the end of last month.
While it has now been confirmed when the beta will wrap up, it isn’t known at exactly what time on September 8 that the teaser will shut up shop. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon enough and update this article for your benefit.

Battlefield 1 is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on October 21, 2016. The game is set during across various locations during The Great War, and equips players with a variety of authentic weaponry, such as bolt-action rifles, handguns, shotguns, and much more.
In addition, the upcoming shooter will also allow gamers to hop into several vehicles, notably tanks, armored vehicles, and bi-planes. The single-player campaign will be complemented by an extensive multiplayer component allowing for up to 64 players to participate.
