Sony has staple-gunned a Japanese release date to Level-5’s upcoming White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness, confirming the RPG will be released on July 8.
In addition, the corporation also revealed that punters who fork out for the game’s original pressing will bag themselves a product code that will unlock White Knight goodies, such as a shield, sword and helmet for online avatars.
The sequel takes place 12 months after the events of its predecessor, and features all-new characters, a tweaked combat system and more. Furthermore, gamers who have finished the original will be able to transfer all their data over to the sequel.
No word on a western release but we’ll keep you posted.
