Bryan Williams, producer of WWE 2K25, has revealed during an interview with PWInsider that WWE boss Nick Khan is a big fan of New Jack and personally championed for his inclusion in the wrestling title as DLC.
New Jack was a shock to all of us on the Visual Concepts and marketing side. New Jack was someone who I never expected would make it into our franchise. It’s funny because it was actually Nick Khan who recommended or suggested that we add New Jack as DLC. When I heard that information from my marketing rep I was like, ‘Really?’ They were like, ‘Oh yeah, he’s a big fan.’ I believe he’s working on the paperwork to make this thing a reality. That was a huge surprise.
Talk about a curveball, that thing came out of not left field, that came out of a different game altogether. So I’m really excited to have New Jack be a part of the game this year and we have some really cool things planned for New Jack.

New Jack, real name Jerome Young, who is known for his time with the Extreme Championship Wrestling and gained notoriety for taking dangerous bumps and employing a stiff hardcore wrestling style. Sadly Young passed away of a heart attacked aged just 58 in May 2021 at home in Greensboro, North Carolina.
WWE 2K25 is due out on general release on March 14, 2025 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. New Jack is arriving in WWE 2K25 in July 2025 as part of the game’s Fearless Pack, where he will be joined by the likes of Bull Nakano and Penta.
