BioShock 2, Mafia 2 hitting stores before November '09

Take-Two has unwrapped details on the remainder of its fiscal 2009 line-up, which sees the publisher through to October 31, 2009.

As expected, aquatic shooter BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams makes the list though there’s still no confirmation as to what platforms the game will appear on. Still, at least we can rule out a post-Halloween release for the hotly anticipated sequel.

Also putting in an appearance is gangster sequel Mafia 2, which will ship for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, along with the recently announced South Central content pack for Midnight Club: Los Angeles.

Said Ben Feder, Take-Two’s Chief Executive Officer: "We're excited about our 2009 pipeline, which will include the introduction of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on the Nintendo DS, episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV on the Xbox 360 and downloadable content for Midnight Club: Los Angeles, as well as new offerings from such powerful franchises as BioShock, Mafia and the 2K Sports roster."

    Can't wait for Mafia 2 and Bioshock 2.

    2009 is going to be another good year for gamers.

    Bioshock2 better be coming out on PS3 same time as the 180 X2, if it isn't i am going to throw all toys out of my pram, so you have been warned take-two.

    Yeah . I hope it comes out for PS3 same time as 360 as well . Just finished 1st Bioshock about 2 weeks ago. One of the sickest games i've ever played . Regardless, i think the PS3 is going to RULE in 09 . So many GREAT games coming out . Cant wait .

    I think Bioshock has slowly moved up to my top 3 games of this generation. I can hardly wait for part 2.

     no wonder Take2 is in such economic situation , they only have 2 decent games franchises

    this is why i didnt buy bioshock yet if it dont come out the same time as the xc0ck i wont be the bioshock sires.

    There's no reason to believe that BioShock 2 won't come out at the same time for 360, PS3, and PC. Otherwise there'd be no reason to debut the teaser within the PS3 version of the game.

    mafia 2 looks awesoem,. bioshock could be good dependeing on story line,

    @ ruismael... they are two of the top 10 games of 2000-2010, so why should take two be in a muddle? i dont get it
