All previous Marvel fighting games under-delivered, at least according to EA. They believe they can master what others only scratched the surface of - an incredible fighting title set within the Marvel universe.
EA revealed the first details surrounding the title at this week's Comic-Con. It's being developed by the proven EA Chicago (Fight Night Round 3, Def Jam: Icon) for the Xbox 360 and PS3, and is set to release in 2008. Other than that, details are scarce, but EA promised to "deliver an authentic Super Hero fighting experience that has been promised for years but never truly been delivered.”
To learn more about the game, make sure to check out Spike TV’s Game Head on Friday, August 31 at 1 a.m. ET/PT as the game will be fully revealed there.

Well, let's get ready for "Marvel vs. EA Icon 2008" followed by 2009, and 2010. Hate to give judgement early, but methinks this is gonna be weak.

Americans/Westerners cannot make fighting games so this game will suck right from the get go. (Just ask any REAL fight fan what Mortal Krapbat games are like)
Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2 were great games, but that was Capcom programming, and Capcom know fighters.
EA does not.
