EA confirms official SKATE release dates

For gamers interested in Electronic Arts new take of the skateboarding genre SKATE, the game will soon be readily available on store shelves. The PlayStation 3 version of the game is expected to hit U.S outlets September 24th and October 5th for Europe. Xbox 360 owners will get a slightly earlier release date of September 12th and 14th respectively.

Xbox Live members will also get access to a demo August 15th. Besides the usual glimspe of the new game, EA has included a feature in the demo dubbed skate.reel. Like the name implies, skate.reel will allow gamers to record their best skateboarding runs and submit them to www.skate.ea.com to be judged by other players.

There is no word of a similar PlayStation 3 demo, but PSU will inform you of more SKATE news as the game nears release.

    another game that release first on on X360. Cmmon sony whats happening. I dont want to buy a game that my friends with 360 have seen and complete two weeks before. Its like go to see a movie when every body already tells you what gonna happend.

    that is really gay they make a ps3 demo cause that then way more people would go and buy cause they it is that is free advertising plus hundreds of people who were not sure would try the demo and possibly like it and then go buy the game
