Electronic Arts has announced that its World War II-themed spy shooter Saboteur will now sneak onto shelves in fiscal year 2010. According to Gamespot, that means we can expect it between April 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010. Plenty of room for rescheduling there, then.
Originally penned in for a 2008 release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, Saboteur has been glimpsed but seldom (appropriately, given the subject matter) since it was first announced 18 months ago. EA Pandemic is heading up the project, which borrows stylistic elements from Capcom's tearfully well-received Okami: as your character works to rid the French countryside of the occupying Nazis, surrounding colours intensify or diminish to indicate the population's will to resist. Arty stuff.
Beyond that, Saboteur appears to be a mix of Assassin's Creed-esque infiltration and corner-view combat. As the Nazis grow increasingly pressed, members of the general public and fellow resistance fighters will stump up the courage to assist you.
Keep those peepers peeled for further updates.

Well, some news is better than no news in my opinion. I can remember reading abut this game nearly two years ago in some gaming magazine.

WWII spy shooter? There's something new I guess.
@5 Who you ask? really? You don't analyze things yourself and make informed decisions? Well, I do agree that "real" wars are more blurred.
