According to Internet reports, an insider at industry giant Electronic Arts has leaked the expected European release date for the company’s upcoming music simulation title, Rock Band

The highly anticipated title, already available in North America, will finally be hitting European shelves on March 6, 2008. However, we’d like to remind our readers that EA has yet to officially announce a release date for the title, and as a result you’d be advised to take treat this purely as rumour material for the time being.

Rock Band allows players to assume the role of either a singer, drummer or guitarist in their own virtual rock and roll band, utilizing a series of specialised peripherals for each position, including a wireless microphone, drums and guitar.
