Far Cry 2 is going to be one of the most sought after titles for the PlayStation 3 console. After being spoiled silly with a great FPS like Call of Duty 4, PlayStation 3 fans are going to be overly excited to see how this game is coming together.
This footage comes from the February issue of UbiSoft TV. The video brings a nice look into the many uses of the flamethrower. Though the video clip is obviously short, you can make your own basis of opinion on the video below.

Wow, it looked better than Crysis before, now its pretty upsetting. Too bad Crytek isn't developing this game.
And to the person above me. Ubisoft Montreal is developing the game. Crytek isn't making Far Cry seeing as Ubisoft owns the name Far Cry. Thats why Crysis is published by EA games. Crysis will probably be ported to PS3 then hopefully Crysis 2 will come out next year :D
Very nice, looking good. You can see in other videos of the pc version. The game is supposely taking place in gigantic maps. I think one map you are in africa, people chase you down in jeeps and everything. I thought crysis was going this route with freedom, but it looks like farcry2 is going to bring that.
i'll just be waiting to see how things go.
this game looks fun...and AI looked pretty damn smart...even though u dont see much at all in this video....but some other video i saw showed alot more like maybe a good 15-20 mins of gameplay

I was reading an article about this game in a ps3 mag in the uk over the weekend and the dev team said they are very impressed by the power of the ps3 so they wont have to dumb anything down from the top spec pc version.
looks great for an alpha build...isnt this an ps3 exclusive as well?
