Latest White Knight Chronicles trailer has clowns, explosions

How do you make a heavily Japanese role-playing game appeal to an American audience? Add clowns and explosions, of course.
Sony has released a two-minute cinematic trailer for White Knight Chronicles, which we've embedded below. The game has a decidedly 'clean' visual style, unlike many of today's gritty games. As for the plot, we were a bit distracted by the announcer's deep, husky voice to listen too intently, though we did catch a bit about a forgotten secret -- the power of the White Knight, presumably -- being awakened. Take a look.

really looks good...will probably give FF13 a run for its money...but then again, FF13 and VERSUS look awesome as well. looks like the rpg drought will be satisfied soon...now if only KOEI will make a ps3 version to their ROTTK series to satisfy my strategy genre.

man i cant wait to get this game. next they need to get demons souls around the globe. i imported it and honestly the game is f-ing amazing. so brutally hard but so good. 1 down, 1 to go.

the voices in english is "meh" i prefer the voices in japanese.... have the option for change the voices in jp and subtitles in english?

No the White engine is the engine they are using to make FFXIII and vsXIII, i'm not sure what engine this is using but it's not the White engine since Square own it.
The cutscene graphics in this game aren't that good but the gameplay graphics are awesome, check out the latest posts in the official White Knights thread.
Love Level 5 RPG's and this will be amazing also!
