Gamecock Media Group has confirmed that it’s upcoming First Person Shooter (FPS) Legendary, developed by Spark Unlimited, will be hitting stores for next-generation consoles and PC this summer.
“I’m happy to report that the team on Legendary is well on target for a simultaneous multi-platform launch this summer,” commented Gamecock Console Chief, Rick Stults.
“It’s no easy feat to pull this off on a game of this caliber, but Spark Unlimited is a talented group.”
Formally known under the working title of Legendary: the Box, the game centres on an art thief named Charles Deckard, who unwittingly unleashes Pandora’s Box after attempting to steal it from a local museum.
In the process, Deckard is endowed with mystic powers, which he must utilize in an attempt to combat the evil forces that have now overrun the city.
Craig Allen, Chief Executive Officer at Spark Unlimited, believes the project is shaping up to be “something amazing.”
Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
