Unfortunately for our European readers, SCEE recently confirmed with VG247 that there will not be a God of War I or II release for the PlayStation 3 in Europe this year. The SCEE rep stated that it is not possible to bring either game to Europe this calendar year.
Sony Santa Monica is bringing God of War Collection, which includes the original God of War games running at 720p and Trophy support, stateside this holiday season. Notice that the rep said ‘this calendar year,’ meaning a reworked version could come in early 2010 before the release of God of War III.
