Capcom has confirmed that it will not be including platform specific characters in the forthcoming home console release of Street Fighter IV.
Word comes from an interview with Yoshinori Ono over at Videogamer.com, where the Street Fighter IV Producer made clear his views on platform exclusive content, revealing that he doesn't consider it to be "fair."
“Well this is just my policy, but I don't want to give an exclusive character for any particular console. And that applies to downloadable characters as well. Because it's not very fair, when you think about this as a board game or a tool. Hidden characters? If we're going to talk about hidden characters they won't be hidden any more!” said Ono.
Street Fighter 4 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2009.

im getting tired of sc4. I feel like a figthing game wih weapons is gay. specially wih characters like astaroth that can kill u with a three hit combo. Anyone wanna buy it lol?
Of course there isn't console specific characters !! lol, this ISN'T Soul Calibur !!
i cant wait for this game to come out and street fighter is not a game to have specific characters for different consoles its not like other fighting games, Street fighter is Biddass and no other game can come close
as far as exclusive characters in sc4 sony got the better deal. its dark vader anyway im sure there will be a way to unlock the system exclusive character upon beating star wars the forced unleashed or some crap like that.
Well it wasnt fair to give 360 the beta for sf2hd and not ps3 owners, but it doesnt matter for myself anyway capcam arnt the saviours as they used to be.

Yes it is a type of sexuality...technically. In the general straight society (aka earth) being gay is a bad thing (..couldn't agree more), so when someone says something is "gay"...they mean "bad" (more so in the worst way possible). All in all its just EFFORTLESS8's opinion (since weapons are a big part of all combat).....I was just trying to clear things up a bit for you.
