North American PSN update; September 4
No trophy support for Fallout 3 at launch
Samsung: Blu-ray will last five yearsThe holidays are right around the corner and Sony appears to be in a festive mood with their most recent update. After announcing earlier in the week that Folklore would be receiving a free holiday add-on for the PS3 exclusive, today's update also includes add-ons for Motorstorm, Warhawk, and Rock Band.
Also included in the update were several new trailers including one for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, a new trailer for the Warhawk add-on Operation: Omega Dawn, as well as the final trailer for Devil May Cry 4.
As for downloadable games, Sony has now made the original PS One version of Warhawk available on the store and a few new PlayStation Eye games. Also added to the PlayStation Store this week was a demo for the upcoming game Blacksite: Area 51.
As for festive Holiday themed store items, Sony has included a free Guitar Hero III cover track of the holiday song "We Three Kings". Motorstorm also joined the festivities by having a free holiday skin added to the PlayStation Store. The Folklore team also released a free holiday add-on for the game.

blacksite is the most horible demo im ever played, it feels like im playing a psone game, litterely
psn id: gingo... this is the most awesome update i have ever seen i might not be able to buy the games, add ons etc. but i can take advantage of the free stuff like trailers and demos this is a certainy a great present from sony
i dont think the update was that great, not bad but not great
lol....saved me 60 bucks too. area 51 was HORRIBLE!!! frame rate issues galore!!! and the demo was extremely short! how can you make a demo with huge frame rate issues through the whole thing?? i won't lie....the area 51 for ps2 looked and played a ton better than this game and it is for ps3. save your money folks.
Amazing update. And yes everyone, Area 51 sucks more than the MX vs ATV Untamed demo.
I was definitely not impressed with the Area 51 demo. the framerate was terrible and it was all together a mediocre FPS. With so many FPSs being released these days a title really needs to do great things to impress people. It was definitely a LOT better than the timeshift demo though, but still nothing special.
