PAIN hits Hollywood hard

First, gamers were given the chance to wreak havoc across an urban environment. Then they were presented with the opportunity to do as much damage to an Amusement Park as possible. And now, finally, the developers behind the hit PlayStation Network title PAIN are bringing Hollywood into your home through their next expansion level, Movie Studio.
According to Travis Williams, Sr. Producer of PAIN, the development team went into designing Movie Studio from a democratic stand point. Instead of dictating what the expansion would include, Williams and co. decided to listen to the broad community of supporters to fully understand what gamers were looking for in their title. Overall, he felt as though this would be the best course of action in delivering the best expansion possible.
Some of the new features fans can expect in the Movie Studio include, but are not limited to:
- More than one launcher location (There are three that you can dynamically switch to)
- Single-player Fun with Explosives
- New Cratetastic Mode
- Unlockable FREE Character
- HORSE Mode
- Bowling Mode (With all new distractions)
On top of these great additions, the team at Idol Minds have also heard the cries demanding some free downloadable content. In order to appease those cries, the team is releasing a free downloadable character from Sony's favorite quiz game, Buzz! Master Quiz.

"The trophies for pain are soo hard there next to impossible."
It's good to have some games that only reward you from REAL achievements and not just from repetition (kill this and that many enemies, race that many laps, win this many times). They are, after all, trophies that are rewarded to skilled players (or that's the idea behind them, not all trophies/games are like that).

Personally I havn't purchased pain yet, is the game worth the buy?( if you leave out the diificulty for trophys and only look at the fun aspect of the game )

I think ill pass on this one too, i have both Pain and the Amusement park, I have all but 2 of the characters, but if i have to pay (and i know we will have too) for the movie studio and god knows what othe XP they bring out, Pain in the beach, Pain in space, Pain on the farm, Pain in my a** i think ill stop right here, yes i agree the trophys are a tad hard to get, i have 1 trophy (Grenade a maid) but HTF do ya get Hard D***s Balls, i can grab a ball or whatever but i cant seem to get it in the dumpster, not all players are good at games, like me, so why make getting trophys stupidly hard ?, but i must admit Burnouts are easier, maybe too easy

Actually, KillerInst2129... Pain at the beach, in space, and at the farm all sound like cool ideas I'd be willing to download.
Then again, I usually drag my PS3 to a friend's house so I can get 4 player action going more often then I play the game by myself.

Pain is very fun and worth the money in my opinion. The trophies are not impossible either. You just need to be decent at the game to get them.

@knowbrainer23, lol i made them up as i typed, yes they would be awsome levels, but at £4.99 per pack, those three together would be around £15, plus by the time you have got your extra characters, if they add a beach babe, and a mad cow, maybe an alien, theres £2.07 extra on top, where do you stop, im all for DLC, but there must be a limit, i wonder if Pains Creators dont mind us skipping a few of the packs, i hope not if theres chance of extra trophys in the movie studio.

LMAO at the Titanic(TETANUS) video, that was a cracker. hopefully they keep up the good ideas for this game and maybe itll last a good while. it'd be even better if they REWARDED new characters and levels by getting the TROPHIES, rather than having to buy em.

Wow, this game is getting expensive. Devs are taking advantage of DLC. Motorstorm is notorious for it. Devs can't release incomplete games just to nickel and dime you for a year.
EDIT: Let's not forget Warhawk. Even though the expansions are worth it, it would be great if they made them free after X amount of time.

the abusement park was £3 not £5.no one makes you buy extra characters thats your choice.pain is a good game but the camera needs to go transparent at times.i think d1cks harder balls trophy is too difficult but the rest of them are do-able.Pain is more a game to play with ur mates/mrs rather then on yer own.
