GameStop has quietly revealed a bonus for pre-ordering 007: Quantum of Solace at the retail chain. Those who put some money down for it from today, on either PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, will be entitled to a free multiplayer map once the game is released.

How much the map will cost if you don't pre-order from GameStop has yet to be revealed.

Quantum of Solace appears to be one of the better James Bond titles in recent years. It's being developed by Treyarch, the same group delivering Call of Duty: World at War. Look out for our review closer to its release on November 4.

Wow.... a free multiplayer map, that only a certain amount of people will have, thus restricin it for online play.

    Nice one.
I think a bonus Dvd or a walkthrough book or evena  freakin tshirt would have been more apporiate..

if they made an offline like 64 use to make bond games, my friends would play it. i have no online. i'll try it at a game store that i go too. bond games aren't worth the buy for me.  i might actually look into doom 4 and see if that gets me to buy it

Has anyone heard the soundtrack for the new Bond Film??? I think it is quite possibly The Worst Bond Soundtrack Ever!!!! It is absolutely dreadful!!!!.....sighhhh... I just hope the film will be better (I'm sure it will). If you do go and watch the film, just make sure you take some earplugs with you to blot-out the sound when the opening credits start!  ;)

Goldeneye 64= Overrated shooter because there was nothing like it on consoles at the time.  A case of right place/right time.  Play it now.  It sucks.  Sorry to stomp on your nostalgia, but I'd rather play Pac-Man ( really, I'm not kidding).  That's why other Bond shooters never lived up to it, they couldn't recapture the "Wow" factor of having that on a console (even though others were better...I remember one on the PS2/Xbox called "Nightfire" I think...easily better than Goldeneye, but no one remembers that because that was the Halo era).

^^Goldeneye is in no way overated.  It is and will forever be one of the best games of all time.  The single player mode was good but it was the Multiplayer mode that made this game a classic.  Nightfire is one of my favorite games but the multiplayer mode sucked (I had a PS2 so i wasn't playing Halo).  Goldeneye is still fun to go back and play because of the multiplayer mode it has nothing to do with nostalgia.  Anyway Quantum Solace is looking to be very good i haven't been this excited about a Bond game since Nightfire.  Quantum Solace just might be what the franchise needs.  On another note Everything or Nothing was an awesome Bond game as well (It was a 3rd person action/stealth shooter).  IMO Everything or Nothing was the last great Bond game i hope Quantum Solace changes that.
