Popular Internet blogger Surfer Girl has posted a selection of supposedly “inside” rumours up for your viewing pleasure over the weekend, including a number of topics related to both the Sony PlayStation 3 and Sony PlayStation Portable.
Among the many entries, the most interesting is the alleged resurrection of the Twisted Metal series, which is supposedly said to “have a future” on PS3, though it is currently unknown when it will appear.
Also set to make an appearance on Sony’s next-generation console is a game based on the popular Ghostbusters series, which is set to appear in 2009.
Moving on to PSP, the website claims that a new model for the handheld is not likely to be introduced until another "three or four years."
Elswhere, the blog states that Capcom's forthcoming Street Fighter IV is in fact cell-shaded, and will appear on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Lastly, the blog claims that Sega are set on not introducing a third instalment in the Shenmue series for next-gen consoles, and that the most likely candidate for continuing the story would be a graphic novel.
We’d like to remind our readers that these should be treated as strictly rumours for now, and is not in anyway official confirmation.

I think TM is a Santa Monica studio and David Jaffe was behind the series. As David Jaffe is no longer with Studio monica and has formed his own company 'eat, Sleep and Play' it is unlikely another next-gen TM will be coming from him. He is more into arcade titles for PSN.
These rumours sound unrealistic to me. Talking about a new PSP new model is speculation and I think Shemnue III was rumoured for 360 along with rumours of an updated versions of both Shemnue 1 and 2 for 360.
They may have something on the cell-shaded Street Fighter but then again its a guess that has a chance of being correct.

Noooooo Shenmue!!! I kinda knew this already, but a graphic novel won't do it justice, not in my eyes anyway. I can understand about its expense and all that but what if all the shenmue fans came together with £50 or dollars or watever and said "we'll pay for it". id do that just for its release, on any console thats how desparate I am.
Twisted Metal looks cool, never played the originals!
Still all only rumours tho!

I usely don't comment, but now i have to react. Shenmue is one of the greatess series in the video game history. It would be awsom to have a third instatement.

They should just make a Twisted Metal Network (or online) game available on the PSN. We don't need a story, kicking butts online is just as good.

I've seen it on the PS-Store (PS1 Version), but can't be AR$&D to download it.
