SCEE caught editing Halo 3 Wiki

Tomfoolery abound as someone at Sony Europe has edited the contents of the Halo 3 Wikipedia page.
The cheeky chappy used a computer with an IP address designated to the Liverpool SCEE offices, and proceeded to say that Halo 3 “is expected to set a high watermark for next-generation games, but won't look any better than Halo 2". Ho ho!
What next for this physical embodiment of Loki, Norse god of mischief? Editing the Nintendo Wii page and calling it ‘GameCube 1.5’? Saying Windows Vista looks a bit like OSX Leopard? Shock horror.
Obviously, Halo 3 is out soon, so expect a lot of under staffed retail and convenience stores around that time. The PS3 owners out there don’t have to fret though, just go down to your local game/online store and pick up/download a copy of the excellent Warhawk.
You can’t go wrong with it.

Well, it's not libel, since the statement isn't false ;)
Anyways, M$ has been known to troll online gaming boards, tauting their products and bashing Sony. It's good to see Sony fighting fire with fire, even if they didn't do it very 'stealthy'.

Hands down, Halo 3 will sell copies out the ass, but that has nothing happened to do with quality! @ Playstation_3-WTF is a naff?

Vista does look like OSX!! M$ has been copying Apples software since the dawn of computers. That aside, I would have to agree wih Sony on this one. It looks a little better, but not much. Oh, and the Wii is a gamecube 1.5 as well, so.....if the shoe fits/.........

You know, I laugh cause I own all 3 next gen (xbox just for bioshock and lost planet) and my friend was over and we got talking about must have games. He says to me "You ARE getting halo 3 right" and I said no, that the game is a bunch of hype to me and I have been playing games like that forever on pc beore it was the hit on the xbox. He scoffed and say "but dude, look at the graphics!! their amazing!!". I had to come up with some dribble to not make him feel bad because to me, the graphics aren't that great. Sure the cinimatics look niffty but from what I have seen of the game, Gears and Lost Planet look better. I believe he really wanted to say "Dude, you have an xbox how can you not want halo".

Wiki can't be trusted for anything anyway. I just hope we don't see a massive uprising in PS3 Wiki articles with things like "360 r teh seks!!1ONEONE!!1." I'm sure this hasn't been the first time someone from a major gaming corporation did this. Halo 3 is going to sell millions, whether you accept it or not. If you want crowd control, go to the local game store and volunteer. Check everyone for ID to make sure they're of age. If nothing else, you can make a kid cry. Hehehe...

Yeah SONY. When you go through Wii or Xbox360 articles they have no bad stuff about them. When you go to the PS3 articles. Bash Fest. Support SONY by making the Wiklipedia articles even. Remove just plain bashing or write about the bad stuff thats true about the others consoles to prove that the PS3 isn't hte only one with problems. GO SONY.

Know when I think about it... Where is the proof? How do they know this? Maybe Microsoft set this up?
I think it's cool Sony is bashing alittle back, Microsoft is so childish. Like when they handed chairs over at launch. H*ll, if I stood in line and was offered one of those chairs, I would have beaten the crap out of him with it!

How is this bad for halo fans? And why are you all laughing? This is stupid. This is sad for sony. Sony execs didnt make this guy post this, but since he did, he reflects poorly on sony. And to say the graphics will be the same is retarded. Dont fret, go pick up warhawk? i have warhawk and the server is usually down, but if its up it is a great game, but when halo 3 comes out, you wont see me on it anymore. i bought warhawk to tide me over until halo 3. Halo 3 will be the biggest game of all time.
