Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has revealed full pricing details for SingStar PS3’s downloadable content, which will be available alongside the games launch via the online ‘SingStore’ service.
Users will be able to purchase additional tracks from the SingStore for approximately GBP 0.99 (EUR 1.49) with the service goes live on December 7, alongside the Blu-ray release of SingStar, which will set you back GBP 24.99 for a standalone copy or GBP 49.99 for the game and compatible microphone accessories.
The SingStore will feature 44 extra tracks in total to download, featuring artists such as the Manic Street Preachers, Zutons and Depeche Mode, in addition to familiar songs from previous SingStar titles. The game itself features 30 tracks out of the box.
Sony has pledged to deliver frequent updates to the SingStore, the first of which is expected to go live on December 14.

I've never been into these games myself (unless I can get some drunken sorority girls to play it with me). However, when you think about it, they'll probably be about $1.50 US, and that's really not that bad. I mean, people tend to pay that much for a ringtone on their cell phone.
