SingStar PS3 release date still undecided

Sony has stated that a release date for the inaugural SingStar title for PlayStation 3 remains undetermined as the company continues to focus its efforts in testing various downloadable and community features for the game.
The company was keen to point that, although a number of reviews have already been printed in various media outlets, the game remains very much in its testing stages.
Speaking to Gamesindustry.biz this week, a Sony spokesperson stated, "We want to ensure that consumers have the best possible experience when playing SingStar on PlayStation 3.
"We are therefore taking extra time to test the downloadable content and community features of SingStar to ensure that it is as rich, simple and accessible a SingStar experience as possible.”
Sony’s official site has labelled the game for release between July and September 2007, with various online retailers suggesting an October or November date. Other sources claim that the title has finished development and is pending licensing clearance for various content used.
Promotional copies have also made their way to journalists, albeit with no online content included.

I reckon they're just waiting for the PS Eye to be released. Most of the online features of Singstar revolve around videos of yourself being shared

How hard could this be to make - its just a few video's with some software tracking your pitch... They have churned it out so many times now - I've got SingStar (Original), SingStar 80's, Pop, Legends, and one other.??? And no I'm not a homo.
I might get one more - 1 for PS3 but thats enough. Too expensive and its getting old.

Thank God it's been postponed.My g-friend has been hounding me about this stupid P.O.S.. J/K she just left the room...I don't mind if she gets it (just as long as her & her g-friends sing it at my brothers house, and not in front of me...Tired of broken wine glasses.:lol:
