Sony confirms PS Store overhaul for mid-April (UPDATE 2)

After weeks of Internet speculation, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has officially confirmed plans to restructure the region’s PlayStation Store for the middle of April this year.
As a result of these plans, the company has revealed that there will be no new content updates to the European PlayStation Network until the process is complete.
Back catalogue items will not be affected, however, and users will still be able to download existing content, such as the recently released Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
Speaking in a statement this afternoon, SCEE commented, “The new design will deliver a hugely improved navigation system, much greater scope for categorisation and a dynamic new user interface.”

Wow, I actually like the overhaul. I hope they have a major update when this switches over.

I want to be albe to change the background into any pic I want! Or atleast change the color!! Maybe even some sound effects or background/elevator music (LOL!). Better still, our own music from our hard-drive!! :)
