Afrika has been an intriguing yet mysterious title since its first showing at E3 2005. Since then, very little has been heard or seen about it.

In fact, this is the first time Afrika has been shown since last year's Tokyo Game Show.

However, although the trailer is very pretty, almost nothing solid is revealed. Wildlife sim? Home tie-in? Next-gen Pokemon Snap? We'll have to wait to find out. For now, just watch the trailer for yourself and enjoy the beautiful animals of the vast African expanses.

Check it out here.

I like the 'next-gen Pokemon Snap' theory. It'd be pretty cool to have a photo-safari game just to be different.

psn id: gingo... this game looks so relaxing but it will probably end up being about an anti animal rights guy just going around mauling all the animals

to be honest i don't think even sony knows what they want to do with this game. i believe it was a tech demo at first as well and then morphed into a safari/photo game where you get points for capturing pictures and probably ties into home and so on but other than that....who can really say! i know one thing....it won't be 60 bucks to take pics or no one would buy it no matter how beautiful the game looks.
