The highly anticipated title, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will be in a great majority of PlayStation 3 consoles by the end of this year. The developer behind the game, Naughty Dog, recently gave away some valuable information regarding PSN downloads and future Jak & Daxter games.
While talking about PlayStation Network, Evan Wells of Naughty Dog commented:
"I think it could come in handy during some of the transitional roll over periods between games if there hasn't been enough pre-production work done to get started on the next big project,"
In other words, Naughty Dog could release downloadable content for Uncharted while working on the sequel, keeping the experience fresh all the way up to the next title.
While continuing on the topic of Uncharted, Wells commented on the question regarding the time-span between Uncharted and Uncharted 2. He elaborated that it is unknown how long it will take for them to bring out the next installment in the franchise by bringing up the Jak series as an example.
"Even on the PS2 we took two years to develop Jak 1 and 2. It wasn't until later in the generation that we had enough tech built up that we could get the production down to one year.
"I imagine things will be similar this time around."
Wells continuing on the subject of Jak mentioning that too much focus is on Uncharted and other projects to even consider making another Jak game.
"Everybody here would love to do a Jak game on the PS3. However, I'm not sure about the timing. We want to stick with only working on one game at a time to maintain our focus.
"Everybody is taking a much deserved vacation right now and we will decide what we're doing next when people get back”, he concluded.

The fights, control, graphics, sound, story, characters .......I loved it all! The end leaves it open for sequels definitely!!! This is one reason to own a PS3!!! It's one game that makes being a gamer such a great thing to be!!! I'm gonna have to play through it again to get all the treasures!!

yeah, i got the game early?... did anyone else?.... like 3 days after assassin's creed.... i mean, the animations for COD4 were pretty stunning, but uncharted is just plain freaky..... seems like it took endless hours of recording human movement..... its honestly a lot like watching a movie, but more immersive..... seriously PS3 users, you got something to Glote about guys..... EDIT, never mind guess some people did :)
