PS3 version of Bionic Commando: Rearmed superior

The limitless file size strategy Sony set for the PlayStation Network is beginning to pay off. When interviewed on the remake of the original Bionic Commando for PSN and XBLA, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, Capcom Producer Ben Judd revealed that the 150 MB limit placed by Microsoft on XBLA games is restricting their development on the Xbox 360 platform.

"Blame Live Arcade's 150MB limit on file sizes," Judd remarked.

The PS3 and PC versions will have higher resolution textures as a result of the slightly larger file size. The game is expected to be priced anywhere from $10 to $15 when it launches this spring on the PlayStation Network.

Cool. Is it possible for Microsoft to allow developers to use more memory in the future? I can't wait to play this game on my ps3.

Microsoft could probably easily allow the developer to use more space if they perhaps paid microsoft for the extra additional space.

Which is kinda stupid based on how size limit should be something that haves space thats well opened for the developers so they wouldnt need to ask if they could need extra space.
