LucasArts’ stylish Star Wars romp The Force Unleashed is set to receive all-new playable characters as well as a new campaign mission for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 via downloadable content later this year.
First up, players can expect a slew of new characters next month including Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Kit Fisto, all of which are "based on what we heard from fans," according to Executive Producer, Haden Blackman.
In addition, the company will be delivering a new mission set in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant at some point later in the year. Apparently, this particular stage was on the cards for appearing in the retail version of the game, but was ultimately scrapped when production began.
"I wouldn't rule out any future content on The Force Unleashed," said Blackman. "There's easily another two dozen we could make into levels. This is a good way to continue the story."

This is pretty sweet news. But will the new characters hold the sabers the same as Starkiller the same way Rahm Kota does when you play as him? And where's MACE WINDU???

There's no way it'll be free, this is from Lucasarts after all.

really stoked that there is DLC for this game. although if they charge i will personally take my copy to skywalker ranch, take a dump on it and throw it over the wall. there is no way i'm paying for DLC for this game.

Lol, same ol, same ol. You guys are so cheap. Was it a complete game when you got it? Did you feel good about the $60 when you spent it the first time? If you did, then you should pay for DLC. If you didn't, it's your stupid fault for getting something with Star Wars written on it, as that "saga" sucks.

Well the game was short, so now there charging for dlc to make the game the length it should've been in the first place. GREAT :(
