PS3 Firmware 2.50 adds Flash 9 support

Eurogamer has been sniffing around the PlayStation 3 firmware update Sony promised yesterday, and has come up with another feature to add to the list - Flash 9 support for the console browser.
This will markedly boost the browser's compatibility with many of the (wait for it) flashier sites out there.
Among the tastier additions to this firmware update are improved Bluetooth headset support, an enhanced Trophy interface that shows your percentage completion of each Trophy level, and an in-game screenshot grabber.
There's no word yet on when this little lot will go live, but we'll keep you updated on any developments as soon as they become available.

Only problem with features like "Picture grabber" is nobody besides a few first party games will use it. Developers are generally to busy or lazy to ad such features. Look at the Youtube Uploader.

sweet cant wait for this update, looks even more promising, now if only we could get US updates sooner on the UK store, now that the PSP is getting a PS3 style store...Sony is always bringing something newer out to amaze us, i mean we wanted ingame xmb and trophy support, and we got it, looks like they finally listening to us

Now will this allow you to use ALL FLASH shows or will it just be youtube and stuff. I noticed on some websites flash was blocked.
