I don't get why people are hating on this game so much. I mean if you played it since the beta then yeah but if you haven't played it lately you don't know how much better the game has become.

Anyone else think its useless to release this after Killzone 2?

Sure its a TPS and not a FPS like Killzone 2 but most of the shooter fans on PS3 will be playing Killzone 2 and i imagine the SOCOM servers being low populated.

Correct me if im wrong it was just a thought i was having.

Sure hope the EU version is better than the North American version.  Every patch possible and the game still bl*ws.  To many crybabies about what weapons they get killed with, etc, etc.  Hurry up Killzone, RE5 & Uncharted

I have actually been playing this since the patch, and it's fairly stable.  Most people don't have the patience to work as a team and call out kills for teammates.  Luckily I found a good clan to play with.  It still has a decent amount of bugs, but nothing compared to when it first came out.  I will play KZ2, but I've always loved the strategy of Socom.  Not perfect, but playable.

if you havent played this game you should probably shut up. Its really good and its diffeent enough from killzone to not be replaced by it.  Its highly realistic and totally different gameplay.  But like i said, try it first.
