Activision has lifted the lid on its second map pack for Call of Duty: World at War, revealing that the add-on will be made available for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next month.
Map Pack 2 will feature four new maps to tackle – three competitive multiplayer and one entry for the co-op Nazi zombie mode. In addition, you’ll also be able to unlock 10 new Achievements/Trophies.
Details on the new maps are as follows:
Banzai: A battle to control a river bridge
Corrosion: Duke it out in a Russian train yard
Sub Pens: Takes place in a destroyed submarine base
Shi No Numa (aka Zombie Swamp): Battle against imperial zombies and hellhounds.

Are people still playing this game? Christ, you mean people finally got into a game that didn't lag or disconnect or get lots of annoying people screaming down the microphone or turning their music up loud to annoy you?

I've gone back to COD4, but still, I like new maps and fighting off zombie dogs does seem pretty cool :) I'm still waiting for that perfect jungle map to come along.

They made these maps so long ago, I reckon there just releasing them in fragments so they can take more money. I guesss they better make th most of it as modern warfare 2 is going to take it to the cleaners. But of course world at war 2 will come out, but noone will play it :).

It's the same company so it doesn't matter which game the money comes from, plus how exactly is MW2 gonna take i to the cleaners?
Sales wise yes, but gamewise.....I don't think 2 identical things can out do each other

Although many gamers returned to CoD4 and others moved to Killzone 2, I have to give credit to Treyarch that they support their game. I wish I could get into CoD5 again but Killzone is just too good. Although I bought the first map pack, I never played it.
I wish Infinity Ward supported CoD4 as Treayarch supports CoD5. Or at least I hope they support Modern warfare 2 a lot more than they did MW1
