Dishonored wins big at 2012 Gamescom Awards

Dishonored, the hotly-anticipated stealth-based adventure title from Arkane Studios, has scooped the ‘Best of Gamescom’ gong at this year’s 2012 Gamescom Awards.
In addition, the Bethesda-published title also bagged two other awards: Best Console Game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Dishonored is due out in October 2012, and takes place in an industrial city named Dunwall, inspired by late 1800s/early 1900s London and Edinburgh. In the game, players are encouraged to explore multiple in which to assassinate their target, with stealth being the primary focus.
Elsewhere, Sony also walked away with a smile on their face, with the PlayStation Vita version of LIttleBigPlanet collecting the award for Best Mobile Game. Rayman Legends also impressed, scooping multiple awards.
The winners of the Gamescom Awards were selected by 20 International jurors and experts from the world’s leading games media.
