A trailer was released today for the next title in the Dead Island series, Dead Island: Riptide. Mimicking the emotional trailer for the first game that garnered much praise and attention, this video reveals no gameplay at all. Instead, the video focuses on two survivors trapped in the wreckage of a ship saying their final goodbyes to each other before choosing to take their own lives as not to succumb to the desperate undead trying to break in.
How do you feel about trailers with no gameplay? Is this trailer as hype-inducing as the first game's emotionally loaded one? Let us know in the comments, and stayed tuned in to PSU for all the details on Dead Island: Riptide.

it was boring like putting two barbie dolls on a boat with monsters all around it and jus blowing it up. dumb irrelevant and not nearly as cool as the first trailer.

Yeah, definitely enjoyed the reverse time and the axe-action in the first. Music was better too :l
