Jack Tretton, president of Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA), has seemingly let slip the release date for CCP Games’ Dust 514.
Speaking to Fox Business, Tretton revealed that the PlayStation 3-exclusive online shooter will be released stateside in October 2012.
Of course, this is the first we’ve heard of a concrete release window for the game, with CCP itself having yet to announce a firm date.
Dust 514 is set within the Eve Online universe, and takes the form of an infantry-based shooter featuring comprehensive customisation options. The game itself will be free-to-play, though microtransactions allow you to kit out your character to your heart’s content.

Hmm, interesting indeed! I would wager then that it will be released at the end of October. There is a new build coming that CCP said is coming at the end of September. They may run that build and then have another release build in a months time.
