Sony unveils new PS3 Super Slim colours for Japan

Japan will receive two new PlayStation 3 Super Slim models next month, Sony has revealed.
Due out on February 28, the Azurite Blue and Garnet Red PS3s will be available in ‘limited quantities’ only, and will retail for 24, 980 yen. Both models come with a 250GB hard drive and a DualShock control pad.
In typical fashion there’s no word on whether we can expect these new colours to make their way to the west, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
The PS3 Super Slim originally launched in fall 2012.

lol no way am I getting PS4 this year or next, it'll have a failure rate similar to this gen, THATS a waste of money.

@4- Now, how in the h e l l do you know that, did you become psychic? lol Just because we had issues this gen, doesn't mean it will be the same next gen, well.................maybe with M$, one of the many things they suck at is hardware. We'll have to wait and see what happens, I really want to see how everything is setup under the hood of both consoles. =) I do understand your concern though.

I don't think the failure rate will necessarily be the same but it does make sense for the rate to be higher during a console's launch period. So I don't blame Aaron if he wants to wait. For me, it really depends on whether or not there's a cool launch title coming out (e.g. MotorStorm).
And while I doubt it'd happen, I'd love to see Sony make Azurite Blue a launch color for the PS4. It looks great and makes me think of PlayStation.
