Marcin Momot, Global Community and Social Media Director for CD Projekt RED, has revealed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered update will weigh in at 45GB for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
Speaking in a post on X, Momot confirmed the following details about the update for all platforms after having received numerous questions from fans on social media:
Since we’ve been receiving lots of questions about the size of The Witcher 3 Remastered update, here’s what to expect on each platform:
💻 PC (Steam): ~45 GB (may vary depending on installed language packs)
🔵 PS5: ~45 GB
🟢 Xbox: ~45 GB
🔴 Nintendo Switch 2: ~50 GB (separate product)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered was announced during GamesCom Opening Night Live in August, and is a free upgrade for existing owners of the critically acclaimed fantasy-RPG. Here’s the official blurb from CDPR:
