Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us will have a web-based, live-action series to promote the game which could be the ideal appetiser for fans to indulge in before the main course arrives in May.
The survival horror action game caused quite a stir on its debut at E3 last year for its jaw-dropping graphics and hard-hitting action and this new live action series, dubbed What Remains, looks to follow suit with an impressive opening trailer hinting at the terror that’s to come.
The official website reveals that the series is intended to be a "marketing campaign by Naughty Dog to increase sales and awareness for the game title, as well as a unique piece of content chronicling the journey of three unlikely friends as they attempt to survive in a world 10 years after a new strain of fungus as all but wiped out the human race."
There’s no word on when the series will begin, but it should be worth keeping an eye on the official website for more information.

I am sure I will get flamed for this, (no I am not 14 either), I am a 37 year old guy and even though the graphics and gameplay look amazing I will not be playing this game. The violence was too realistic in the trailers and there were WAY too many f-bombs.
1. There is a huge difference between GOW violence on fantasy/cartton monsters and the reallife violence betrayed in this game. I'm not a wimp, but my moral compass draws the line and bashing in some dudes head with a shotgun. This has stopped being Uncharted fun and turned into "shock value" violence.
2.As for the language, don't tell me "people really talk that way in intense situations", because I play games for an escape not real life drama. (I have a job for that). I am uncomfortable listening to a gratitious f-bombs and don't need some one else telling me to get over it. Hey Naughty Dog, even the guys who made KillZone figured out how to pul it out of their games, surely you can do the same.
I'm bummed out becuase Naughty Dog has serious talent and are waisting it on the same "ultra violent" crap that other developers are pushing out trying to fit in.

This has to be some of the WORST reporting I've ever seen.
This movie is a FAN-MADE project that has no affiliation with Naughty Dog Whatsoever.
If you'd even done any research in to your article, you'd have seen that the "Official website" (as you call it) states that they are not connected with Naughty Dog in any way.
Wow. Great job.

@JuanValdez, that's cool not everything is for everybody but just because there is gritty realistic violence doesn't mean it is in place for the shock value, ND isn't the kind to do that. Violence for the sake of violence is different from what I'm seeing, I don't think we can even properly imagine the horrible things humans would do to each other over resources after an extinction level event.

I am not on a crusade to tell others that the game in inappropriate or that they shouldnt play it. Just saying that for me its too much. Just because I don't see the fun in it doesn't mean the others won't.
I personally am just bummed because the game's graphics and concepts seem amazing, but are not worth the trade off for me.
As for Mr. "I'm 34 and f-bombs come out when I'm stressed", that's great man, but it doesnt endorse me wanting to hear it.
Just give me an uncharted 4 with that graphics engine, and I'll be happy.
