its getting some stick today tho, the ign forums is going mad with stick. Some about the visuals not being a leap, some saying the chip is about 5 years out of date and xbox fan boys finding their nit picks. The press are being very unkind also just because they seen no console and cos they assume its cloud based only

I liked everything I saw, except for a lack of clarity on issues that will matter to gamers. Will the console utilise physical media at all? What will happen to users who may approach hundreds of gb's of games and other things and the console suffers a hardware failure (let's face it, EVERY appliance has failures and it wouldn't be an indictment on Sony to admit that)? Will the console's content be able to be backed up via USB 3.0? What is the status of the PS4's ability to play used games or to take a game to a friends house and use on their console? These are all important things, that WILL need to be clarified.
Outside of that, I was extremely happy with everything I saw.

I actually find myself getting a bit excited about PS4.
Controller looks like something I could get used to.
Game lineup is horrid, a bunch of FPS's and platformers. But that was expected. Diablo 3 is literally a joke. Witcher games have had tedious gameplay in the past.
It's nice to see some optimism about PS3 games running on PS4. The one thing I'm waiting for though is confirmation that I won't have to re-purchase the games I already own in order to play them on PS4.
I really hope they don't push this social media crap too far. The last thing I need is a bunch of annoying people tweeting my facebook while I'm trying to relax with a game. Polls among gamers have shown an overwhelming negative response in regards to social media.
At this point, I'm not planning to buy at launch, but I'll keep an optimistic eye out for more info.

Yeah I wasnt floored by the lineup. Watchdogs looked great, as expected and the new InFamous game interested me but aside from that nothing else really moved me software wise. Im more interested in the fact that its a platform that frees developers even more, which is always good news for us.

Really like the look of the games but the social aspects don't sound too appealing.

PS4 is advanced than others. It has nice features of graphics, architecture and much more. It also supports natively.
