Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is currently in the works at Sledgehammer Games.
That’s at least according to the LinkedIn profile of senior VFX artist Rob Valdivia, which reveals he is “developing photo real visual effects for the next Call of Duty – Modern Warfare release.
Valdivia previously worked at SuperBot Entertainment, the developer responsible for last year’s PlayStation-exclusive beat-‘em-up, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Unsurprisingly the listing has since been removed, but you can still view it in Google Cache.
Sledgehammer is no stranger to the Call of Duty series, having previously cut its teeth on Modern Warfare 3 alongside series regular Infinity Ward. The latter is currently developing Call of Duty: Ghosts, which will be released in November of this year.
Speculation regarding the possibility of a fourth instalment in the Modern Warfare franchise has been doing the rounds for a while now, with MW4 believed to be this year’s CoD game before Ghosts was officially announced a few months ago.
