Konami today announced it will release Castlevania Harmony of Despair on the PlayStation Network later this summer. The game is a fast-paced 2D side-scroller featuring local four player co-op and six player online co-op. The PlayStation version will also get the Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire map pack and downloadable characters Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades included with the purchase of the regular game.
You’ll explore massive levels inspired by the classic asthetics of the Castlevania world, and, of course, you’ll get to hunt some vampires on your action-based adventure. The game was released on the Xbox Live Arcade last year but PS3 owners will soon get their chance to join the fun.
