PlayStation 4 launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall has officially gone gold, Guerrilla Games’ Angie Smets has confirmed.
“We are Gold! #Killzone #killzoneshadowfall #ps4" he Tweeted.
Gold status is a phrase developers use when a title has entered the manufacturing process in preparation for launch.
In Shadow Fall’s case, the game will be released alongside Sony’s new console in the U.S. on November 15 and in the U.K. and Europe on November 29.
Guerrilla Games recently revealed that the latest entry in the Killzone franchise can support up to 24 AI foes on screen before the frame rate takes a tumble. The Dutch studio was also reported to be tweaking the game’s visuals at the last minute following a showcase in Russia.
