Konami has revealed during the latest footage for Silent Hill Townfall that the upcoming psychological horror title will be a console exclusive to the PS5 at least six months after launch.
“Also available on PC. Not available on other consoles until at least 6 months after release date,” reads the blurb.
Developer Screen Burn Interactive released 19 minutes of Silent Hill Townfall gameplay that showcases a number of key gameplay elements, including exploration of the foggy town of St. Amelia, combat against its various grotesque residents, as well as a look at the Otherworld.
The last few Silent Hill titles have come to other formats, although not always on release. For example, Silent Hill 2 Remake didn’t arrive on Xbox Series X/S until a year after its PS5 and PC debut, while Silent Hill f was released on all major formats at launch.
Silent Hill Townfall is due out on September 24, 2026 for PS5 and PC. The game is set in 1996 in Scotland’s fictional St. Amelia, and follows Simon Ordell as he inexplicably wakes up in the waters of the town’s docks, and must explore the deserted streets and beyond in order to discover his connection to St. Amelia. One of Simon’s key items is a handheld CRTV device, allowing him to track nearby enemies.
