There have been rumours circling about the future of the Crash Bandicoot series over the past week or so, and today has seen another twist (or should that be spin) in the tale.
On the official PlayStation Brazil Twitter account, a picture was posted with the line ‘Crash quer um abraço!,’ which translates to ‘Crash wants a hug!’ The picture is below:
This is interesting timing in light of the first rumours of the Crash Bandicoot IP being purchased by Sony from Activision, which was soon followed by comments from both Sony and Activision with the latter saying that they want to revive the series at some point. The publisher had previously refused to comment on Crash’s future. The tweet has since been deleted but the picture remains as proof.
Who knows what is going on?
